[Now she feels a bit more awake! She stares at him in slight confusion.]

All the way...Where is here?

I already told you - it's home.

[ Gosh Rita. But he'll explain, tone light and happy. ]

I thought it was about time we moved in together, so I put this place together... [ And with a little excitement because he wants to point out everything to her. ] This bed is actually big enough for both of us without worrying about rolling off.

[But it's not either of their places! That's what she almost protests with, but then she just kind of stares at him, stunned. He put this place together? It's their house?!]

Y-you did all of this?

[blackshadow]

[ He's just so proud. ] That's right.

We need to dress it up a little, but I thought we should do that together...

[negativegate]

[Rita might be proud of him later! First, there's more things she needs to sort out about this.]

But you just thought you'd bring me here in my sleep?

[Not that she hasn't thought of living with him--but it was more him coming to stay at her place or her going to the apartment--she hadn't thought of anything like this.]

[blackshadow]

[ And...a little disappointed. ]

I thought it'd be a better surprise this way...

[ His apartment and her house would never work - even though he has his own room in his apartment, there are still others around.

But he's not thinking of that now. ]

Well, I am surprised.

[She doesn't really know what to think. She runs a hand through her hair, a little agitated--maybe because there's something else that's bugging her that she can't quite put her finger on (sleeping through his carrying her here...)]

It's just--this is pretty sudden, you know...

[ There's nothing weird about that, Rita. He's just worried about how agitated she seems. ]

Well, we're together. It's only natural for us to live together... So it's not that sudden. I've wanted to be with you like this for a while.

[negativegate]

[It's all normal to him?! Rita's a bit conflicted--it's not like she dislikes this, exactly...]

I guess it'd be natural...But I thought you didn't want to leave your friends alone.

[blackshadow]

[ He responds in a tone that shows how little he cares. ]

They don't really compare to you.

[negativegate]

[And that makes her give him a suspicious look, because coming from him, it just sounds off.]

That doesn't mean they don't matter, Tyr.

[blackshadow]

I know that.

[ He's so confused that she's bringing that up, even a little hurt. ]

This isn't about them, though. This is just about us.

[Rita's confused as to why he sudden;y doesn't care about them--a curse is her immediate thought.]

So you're not worried that something could happen to them?

[blackshadow]

[ He shakes his head. ]

They've been fine so far. They don't need me to watch over them all the time.

And I'd rather be with you anyway. [ He sits up on his elbow. ] It's the same for you, too, right?

Well...I do like being with you--I want to.

[And it's true, but there's just something off about it.]

Where is this house, anyway?

[blackshadow]

[ He smiles again when she says that. He knew she'd want to be with him. He settles back down into the bed with her. ]

In the City. It was pretty hard to secure, but it'd be safer than an apartment...

[negativegate]

I guess--the houses are kind of expensive, aren't they?

[Maybe as she gets used to the idea, she'll stop feeling so weird about it.]

[blackshadow]

A little... I had to...work hard to get this place. [ Just a little awkward saying that.

He hopes she'll accept it and like it. The way he loved her is special. ]

[negativegate]

[Now that the surprise is over, she ought to start accepting it...Except the awkward way Tyr says that makes her curious.]

What did you have to do? [Take on a second job...?]

[blackshadow]

[ Since it's Rita, he doesn't feel like he should hold back. ]

I stole it.

[negativegate]

[And that--was not anything she was expecting. She doesn't freak out; just blinks in uncertainty.]

Huh? You just came in here and furnished it?

[blackshadow]

And I took the keys.

[ And threatened the owners...

He rolls closer until his face is over hers. ]

So this place is ours now.

[negativegate]

[She stays there, but frowns at him.]

Until you get arrested for something like this, Tyr.

[ He'll keep his smile on... ]

I took care of that. Have more faith in me.
