[ He didn't think he'd ever see a face like that... It almost doesn't look like Rita with tears and blood running down her face. The sympathy he feels for her doesn't even reach his face; his expression is simply cold. ]

I'll clean that up later...

[ And try to catch her lips again as he yanks her closer. ]

[And she's still stubborn enough to turn her head again, placing a hand on his chest to push him away.]

Is that all you want right now?

[There's a cold edge to her voice, but it can't cover up all the hurt.]

[ He hates that sound of pain in her voice.

But she deserved all the pain, he tries to reason. He grips her shirt more tightly, twisting it around one hand. His voice stays uncaring and even. ]

It's all I've ever wanted from you...

[negativegate]

[She grimaces even more from anger. She hates him so much right now--she wants her Tyr back. To her, this curse has twisted him ine very way possible.]

So all you want is someone to make out with?!

[blackshadow]

I want you, idiot!

[ That was it for him. He can't stand this anymore. He hates that she doesn't know him. He hates that she doesn't care about him. He's getting close to just hating her. ]

Well, I don't want you!

[Not when he's cursed like this. She wants nothing to do with this awful imitation.]

[blackshadow]

So you've just stringing me along this whole time?! [ If he could balance well enough to do it, he'd kick her right now. As it is, she's lucky she didn't untie his hands because he just about hates her now. ] For what? My money?

[negativegate]

[Part of her doesn't care what she says anymore, because he's so far gone and it won't matter when he's not cursed anymore.]

Think whatever you want!

[blackshadow]

[ He'll care very little about whatever he thought now when he's not cursed anymore. But now, he really just wants to hurt her. If she doesn't love him, he won't let her love anyone else. And he'll get rid of her so no-one else will love her.

She's his. And even if this isn't how he wanted it to be, that won't change now.

With almost a charge, he rams into her, trying to force her against the opposite wall. ] You're disgusting!

[negativegate]

[She resists as much as he can, but then her back's hitting the wall, and she tries to knee him--in the gut, in the groin, anywhere.] I don't care!

[blackshadow]

[ He grimaces and bows his head, body stiffening from the pain. His breathing is heavy as he reels from the pain, and he speaks through gritted teeth. ]

I hate you...

[negativegate]

[She shuts out anything she might've felt at those words; they don't matter because this isn't the person she cares about.]

Shut up! [And she shoves at him, kicking at his knees, hoping that hit weakened him enough.]

Ah-!

[ He stumbles back, almost losing his footing and falling, but remaining on his feet well enough.

He hates her so much. More than anything right now, he hates her and how she's betrayed him. With his head bowed, be begins muttering under his breath. ]

[negativegate]

[As much as she wants to stop him...Her sash is still around his hands and he could probably still over power her. The real Tyr would want her to run...

So instead of lingering, she makes a dash for the door.]

[blackshadow]

[ And he actually doesn't follow after her though he could overpower her. As she runs down the hall, she'll find a staircase leading to a lower level of the house that's only lit by the lingering sunlight outside. If he wanted to take care of her quickly, he would probably just shove her down them.

But he doesn't. Unless those two pillars of flame tailing after her do that for him. ]

[She wishes it were darker so that it was closer to midnight, but she heads immediately for the stairs, glancing behind her-

And she swears and calls up her magic shield to encase her just before the staircase.]

[ Being a basic spell, the flames hit the shield and are deflected like they're just water splashed from a cup.

Since that swear wasn't followed by a fall or a cry of agony, though, Tyr does begin pursuing her, starting another spell that's not loud enough to hear yet.

It's a pretty small house for having two floors, though. ]

[She feels some of the heat, but not enough to burn her. And more importantly, seeing Tyr come at her like that causes her to turn and race down the stairs. She starts chanting her own spell now as she goes. If she can't find the door easily...]

[ She better run, he thinks. If she won't love him, she better fear him instead. There's no way he's going to let her escape completely, though.

Downstairs, she finds a little sitting room to one side and a dining room to the other. Outside the windows shows that it's definitely a house: they look out to an overgrown, fenced in lawn. ]

[negativegate]

[She fears what could happen, but doesn't allow herself to panic right now. Since she doesn't see a door here, she makes for the sitting room-

Where she waits with her sleep spell for Tyr.]

[blackshadow]

[ His mind is racing too much for him to realise she's stopped running. He dashes down the stairs casting his own spell, eager to find her so he can aim it a little better-

But he knows how to get out and she doesn't. Even if he can't find her, he has a chance to catch her just by setting the entire place on fire. As he reaches the bottom of the stairs, he yells. ]

Dancing flames!

[negativegate]

What the hell are you-?!

[She yells automatically when she sees the flames. So he's going to burn the whole place down, even if he's still in it?! Rita takes off again, running from the spell and through the sitting room to try and find the exit.]

There you are!

[ He chases after the sound of her voices, barely avoiding being burned himself. The flames take in the furniture of the rooms quickly, the carpet itself carrying the flames easily. At least he's wearing boots.

There's a little kitchen area that connects the two downstairs rooms with a hallway. There are two doors along the hallway and one the end of it. ]

[negativegate]

[She hisses and dashes along, trying to outrun the flames shooting through the furnishings. He's going to kill them both at this rate. The hallway--which way?! She runs for the doorway at the end.]

[blackshadow]

Stop running, Rita! [ Mockingly: ] I thought you were never going to abandon me!

[ All the doors look the same, giving no hint which one would be the one leading outside. Tyr tries not to care about how his pants and shirt are burning and about to catch flame just like everything else in the room. He just has to catch Rita, even if he's not caught up with her yet. ]
