[ That's exactly where this is going, isn't it? She has the spells to do it. He thrashes and tries to tear the sash away from him desperately. ]

[But she can't try to explain like this. She tries to finish the spell, knowing the sash isn't that strong--and with the mana know going to her spell, it falls away from him, anyway.]

[ He's not going to believe that now. The second the sash falls away, he lunges forward to tackle her to the ground. ]

[She leaps back a few steps, still holding onto the now-loose sash as she tries to get some distance between them.]

Stop--calm down!

After you tried to kill me?!

[ He keeps after her, wishing her had thought to bring his staff. ]

Idiot!

[She wasn't trying to kill him, but she's not going to waste her breath arguing. He's faster than her as it is and there's barely any space between them, so she tries lashing out with the sash again--aiming at his legs.]

Shut up!

[ He can't very well interpret that to mean she wasn't planning to kill him. His desperation in trying to grab her makes him an easy target, though, and he jumps back - or trips back - to try to avoid her sash. ]

[Maybe running away would be the best idea, but it's not what Rita does; she immediately stops backing away and lunges after him instead, attempting to trip him again.]

[ It makes him stumble back more, but he's not careless enough to actually fall. ]

What are you thinking?!

Stopping you!

[Before he does anything else he'll regret tomorrow. She spins, sending a small shockwave just above the ground using mana.]

[ That actually does trip him up, making him fall to the ground and hold his ankles.

Hissing: ] From what?

Doing anything-!

[She does hope he isn't injured, but she wastes no time in jumping on top of him and grabbing at his hands with her sash.]

[ He doesn't know what to do to stop her--her sash is stronger than it should be--and even if he knocked her off, he doesn't think he'd be able to do much without his hands. ]

You're insane!

Me?

[She'd gape at him if she weren't so desperate to try and tie his hands. He needs to be stopped, for his own good, for everyone's good...

She starts casting the sleep spell again. She wouldn't be against knocking him out in a less gentle way if she really had to, but she doesn't have a book on her this time.]

[ He tries to throw her off as he thrashes. He doesn't want her to cast. It'll be a slow death if she does. ]

You! I can't believe you're doing this to me-!

[She tries to keep her balance with all his fighting--he'll knock her off easily if he keeps trying--and lashes out at his face with her hand.]

Quit moving!

[ He's completely taken aback by that hit, staring at her with wide eyes. ]

[She ignores his look, his questioning tone and resumes the spell. He's not going to get her off-guard.]

[ He tries to kick her off more desperately than before. ]

[She can't keep him down like this, and half-falls to the side.]

[ Even with his hands tied, he still flops over and straddles her. ]

[She grabs at him, trying to reverse their position. Who knows what he might do like this?]

[ He shifts and tries to keep his balances as she grabs him, gripping at her bangs with his bound hands for support. He really isn't sure what he'd do either, but if killing her became necessary... ]

[It makes struggling a little more painful when he's holding her hair like that, but she doesn't stop. She thinks he could do anything like this, including killing her.]

I know this curse made you crazy!

[ And he can't really regret it if he does... He yanks her forward by her hair just to make her stop fighting as hard. ]
