[ Tyr, at least, doesn't even think it could be a curse. He's known Rita's loved him since that time they met after kissing the last time.

And she can't be cursed now, either. He holds her hand just as tightly in returns and responds matter-of-factly- ] Of course it wasn't. I wanted to do it right for once...

[Even if she only admitted anything by accident back then. It would almost seem silly to her if she looked back on it.

To do it right...Rita flushes more, feeling too uncertain for a second to do anything. But she hates uncertainty, and they've already done this much--Rita's response will be to lean up and kiss him right on the lips. A bit messily, but there's no curse guiding things this time.]

[ Probably with good reason. Tyr mostly feels guilty.

Somehow, Tyr wasn't entirely surprised by that - maybe because he really wanted her to - and he returns the kiss more eagerly and roughly than he should. In the back of his mind, he thinks of how it's different from how it usually went - neatly and perfectly - and he...likes this more. It suits her. ]

[Aw, Tyr. But now they can just look forward...!

It was hard for her to resist after he made the first move; it would've been like backing down. Not to mention that little curse kiss before they went to bed was on her mind all night, though she wouldn't indulge in any fantasies that weren't real...

Or so she thought. This is real, and Rita's thrilled that he's kissing her back, even if she has only a vague idea of what she's doing. She reaches her free hand up to his head, to curl in his hair.]

[ The future is bright-!

He hadn't intended to continue missing her or for the kiss to be much deeper than a peck...but this is partially his fault and he knows it. And he doesn't exactly mind the results. They can kiss each other messily all Rita wants...

Especially if she holds his hair like that. A warm feeling wells in his chest making him hum just a bit. He doesn't feel any guilt now for the first time in a long time. His hand moves around her waist, holding her closer as he shifts onto the couch to make the kiss a bit less awkward. ]

[It's whatever they make it-!

She can feel her cheeks burning again as they continue--and not just that; she feels pretty warm all over--though it's the need to breathe that makes her pause. She keeps her face close to Tyr, still a bit embarrassed but also more confident. Confident enough to be a little smug-]

That's doing it right.

[ That's right-! Curses not withstanding. Also now I'm thinking of doing morality reversal. Opposite is coming out a little more awkwardly than I like.

Oh, that is so smug. His face is red, and he's pretty sure if she didn't break the kiss, he'd be the same way she is. ]

Yeah... I guess that's a bit closer to the way it should be...

[Ooh, yeah, that might be easier. I was wondering how it was going with trying to keep doing the opposite.

She feels good, though. Maybe a part of her was worried that something would change, but it hasn't--except for the better.

And of course Rita will act as though she has more experience than a curse or two.]

This is definitely better to him, too. It feels more like they've become more open with each other than have actually changed.

Now he can tease her and kiss her at the same time. Always a bonus. ]

That's just how it is, and it's...pretty liberating.

[ And being free to be express how they really feel wirh each other is the best.

...Tyr really likes this side of Rita. Grinning, he meets her lips and presses a firm kiss against them as he pulls her closer against him. ]

Hee, all it needs to be more appropriate is to have Tyr in there.

[Definitely, definitely the best. Even Rita didn't realize how much she must have wanted this until now, and she'll happily curl her fingers in his hair--while not the most gentle about it, she tries to be careful not to pull.]

[ Yeah. :3 I was kinda making it an AU in my head last night, too. ]

[ As long as she doesn't yank on his hair, he likes when she holds it. He doesn't want to admit how much he's wanted to do this with her - just hold her close and kiss her - but he's not holding back now. Even if that really just means holding her hand more and missing her sloppily. ]

Maybe one day-! If either of us draws it~

[She'll do her best not to pull it! So far, so good. When Tyr kissed her first--and then kissed her back--a lot of her insecurity was put to rest, so she doesn't worry too much about what she's doing right or wrong. It all feels very right, sloppy and all.

She pulls away again when she needs to breathe. Wow, breathing's kind of annoying at times like this--but she smiles softly at him.] Better?

It's veeeery tempting...

[ Yeah, since I'd have to change something pretty fundamental about him to switch his morality! ]

[ The one time it'd be better to be City-dead. Tyr is definitely not picky about the way Rita kisses him; he just wants to kiss her. When they pull away again, Tyr rests his forehead against hers, noticing how warm their skin is just then. Being happy like this, with her smiling with him, feels sort of unreal. Or maybe he needs to breathe more. ]

That's my question. I thought I was the one who was supposed to do better for you.

[Only for the breathing. It's nice being this close, with no misgivings or awkwardness. Maybe it's sappy, but Rita feels ridiculously happy right now.]

[ It's not actually hard to imagine him like this...but the whole of Suikoden I wouldn't have happened. 8| ]

[ In the meantime, they need to practice breathing calmly through their nose more. So, so sappy... But Tyr kind of likes that when she's being sappy too. If he could blush more, he probably would when she says that, but instead she just gets a short, awkward laugh. ]

Then we should keep going until we're both on the same level.

[At least Tyr has done breathing exercises! A bit of sappydere now and then. She smiles--almost shyly, but happy, too--and as long as they're being sappy...]

[Ooh, Commander Tyr~ She blinks at first, and then her eyes widened.]

Oh--I-I hadn't even...Yeah. [The thought didn't occur to her at all, but they are out here on the couch, so she nods. It does make her wonder briefly just how much he wants to do...But she decides that doesn't really matter right now.]

[ He'll lead her all the way~ Tyr doesn't even think about how much they'll do; he just doesn't want to put on a show for anyone. He gives her a lopsided smile and tugs her to her feet as he stands. ]

Don't worry about it. We should actually stop and have something to eat now anyway before everyone else gets up.

He guides her into the kitchen and doesn't let go of her hand as he opens up the fridge. ] Anything you want? We have plenty here.
