This post is dedicated to an AU loosely based on this curse's setting. In short, Flynn is a police detective, Tyr is a Vegas magician (er, gambler. He makes money disappear?), and Yuri frigging Lowell is a mafioso jerk.

Do you have anything normal for juice?

[ As in, nothing over $50 a-piece?

As soon as Tyr walks away from the door, Flynn lets himself and then, out of habit, goes to take one last precautionary look of the hallway outside before closing the door behind him. One thing he's learned about Tyr is that it's good to be always alert when around him. Tyr is never the problem, of course, but his long list of ever-growing enemies that usually include graceless mafioso heads' sons? Yes. A big definite Yes. ]

[ For a hunted man, Tyr is almost always relaxed - at least in the public's eye. And when he's with Flynn, he feels he has little to worry about. He's a good man who wouldn't let him get hunted.

Tyr really admired him, not that he was just going to outright admit that.

At his question, Tyr waved a dismissive hand. ] We can use the scotch glasses.

[ Flynn doesn't answer that and heads to where Tyr keeps his glasses. There are the scotch glasses, just like Tyr suggested, but his eyes wander to those wine glasses...

He grabs two of those with smile and then walks over to where Tyr is. He then lifts them up for Tyr to see. He doesn't really have to say anything, he knows, not when he's holding the glasses already. ]

So, how are you?

[ He finally asks as soon as he has the wine glasses set on the bar counter. ]

[ Tyr smirks a bit when he sees them, and he leans against the bar a little, waiting for Flynn to pour. ]

Pretty good. Things are pretty quiet right after New Year's...

[ Kicking his legs off the end of the stooool. ] How about you?

[srslynotguy]

The usual. Things get a little rowdy during the New Year's.

[ Flynn pours for them both and then hands Tyr's his glass. ]

Nothing on the 'blood alliance' though, and that's enough for me.

[ His code name for the group Yuri's embroiled himself in. He cracks a grin for Tyr and then motions for a toast. ]
