[ Some people would think it's weird to be in a relationship with another version of yourself, but Tyr likes to think of it as of it as being with someone that knows how you feel better than anyone.

So he's pretty sure he knows Tir's tastes when he buys her a little gift, just as a surprise for when he sees her. ]

[ It was comforting in its own way. To Tir, it felt like there weren't any expectations or any explanations needed. They had common interests, which in a way was weird, but, well- he was another version of her. It had long since settled in.

She had just finished off some short training when Tir heard him call her name. Their name, really, but she turned when she heard it and had a smile on her face when she saw him. ]

Hey. [ She lifted a hand, walking over towards him as she dabbed the sweat on her face with a towel over her shoulders. ] How are you?

[ Though it was probably a little narcissistic to think she looked pretty good after a workout. Very good, even. Tyr's smile grows wider as he closes the distance between them to only a few feet. ]

Not bad... I could probably do to train myself, but...

[ Definitely. Go and make out with a mirror, Tyr.

Tir lowers the cloth from her face, but keeps hold of it, letting her other hand take hold of the other side. She would offer to do some training with him, but it sounds like that wasn't why he was there. ]

Was there something else you wanted to do?

[ Wants Tir more.

He nods, not getting too distracted by Tir-! ]

Sort of. I saw this thing today, and... [ He reaches into his pocket to pull out a small, square box. ] Here.

[ weirdo.

She looks at it, then taking it from him to open it up. What could it be...! ]

[ It's...a ring! Just a simple gold ring with a red jem inlaid in the center. Tyr grins at her, wanting her reaction-! ]

[ How often did she ever wear jewellery? Not much at all, not even back in Gregminster. Even though it looks no different from any other ring box, she still hadn't expected it to be one, and the surprise on her face is clear to see. ]

Wow. [ It's simple, but though Tir always liked simple, it's not what she thinks about it. It's... good-looking. She looks from it to Tyr. ]

I wasn't expecting a ring... thanks.

I wanted to give you one since...it can be useful, too. It's meant to improve your stamina.

[ Tyr figured she wouldn't wear much jewellery - it's not like he does either - but as long as it's useful she has a reason to wear it too. ]

Really? [ That does make it more useful. Taking it out she looks at the band. ]

Would it still work if I wore it on a necklace?

[ It looks like an ordinary band with etchings on the inside! At her question, Tyr shrugs. ]

Maybe. Do you want me to find a cord?

That's alright, I should be able to find one.

[ For now, she'll put it back into the box and clap it shut with her hand. ]

Did you want to come in? [ To the small hut she's staying at behind her. She's been borrowing it from someone she knows for a while, who didn't mind she used it. It gives her a little peace near the forest-y area, and she's rather been enjoying it. ]

[ Tyr smiles and gives a nod. ]

Yeah, sure. You probably want to sit down after all that, too, don't you?

I could go again. [ Her grin is big, but she laughs and turns to lead him into the cabin, leaving the door open for him.

The inside was modest, but also charming in a cabin-y way cabins rock ok. There was a stove, bed, and a place to sit. There was a separate room for toileting and taking a bath, which meant the fun of having to heat up water and then take it to the tub, though Tir had gotten quickly used to that when she needed to bath.

Right then, there was a small pot with some water and a cool fire under it that meant it wasn't bubbling. A cup was already out, but Tir went to retrieve another for Tyr. ]

[ Tyr follows along behind her. He certainly didn't mind the plain decor. He looked over the room curiously before taking a seat at one of the chairs. ]

Maybe after you've had the time to cool off and relax first... Do you want me to start a fire for you?

[ She hadn't seen the state of the smaller fire yet, so when grabbing the cup from the small drawers there was in the cabin, the only one, she looked behind at him. ] Sure, that would be great.

[ And there! Cup obtained. Tir closed the doors up and brought it over, sitting down to hers which looked unused itself from how long it had been since she had taken a drink from it. When she came over, she no longer had the small box in her hands. That had been left with the other trinkets on top of the drawers, which housed other belonging of hers such as her bandanna. ]

[ At her word, he heads over to start the fire. Tyr himself still wore his bandanna as always. He supposed Tir looked less like him when she wasn't wearing hers, which...he couldn't complain about.

Once the fire was rekindled, he heads back over to sit beside Tir. He wasn't quite observant enough to notice the difference in their cups, but after training, her tea had to be cold. ]

You should probably refill your cup a little...
