[ Nope, that's too embarrassing. ] Come on, you're not much of a cat if you don't eat fish or meow...

[ Nope nope. And if he still had a blush on his face when he comes back, it's because of the steam the comes off the pot of stew when he pulls back the lid! Unintentional awkwardness aside, he has to smile when he smells it. ] Stew usually takes even longer to cook, but I hate waiting... [ So it's kind of soupy, but it's Rita and his friends, so he doubts they'll care...except maybe Luc. But Luc doesn't count. Tyr grabs just two bowls out of the cupboard. ]

Yeah, just serve it. I'm going nuts. [Because it smells so good, and she hates waiting, too! Also, thinking about how hungry she is beats staying embarrassed.]

So you're the starving one, huh? [ He teases her just a little and decides the first bowl he dishes up is for her. And maybe the ears have some influence on him: once it's plated, he comes beside her and sets it down in front of her before he gets his own. ]

I-I wasn't before I started smelling this stuff. [She huffs a bit, and then--because she has terrible manners forever--takes a spoonful as soon as he sets it down for her.]

[ Hunger confirmed. He doesn't really mind that she goes at it the minute it's in front of her; it's just sort of funny. He leaves to get his own bowl, saying: ] You can have a second bowl if the smell keeps getting to you.

[Whatever her reply is, it just comes out garbled around the soup she shoved in her mouth. Which she is thoroughly enjoying, hungry or not!]

[ When she can't stop eating it, he assumes it must taste delicious! It doesn't even look as goopy and muddy as before, but more like normal soup that's sorta thick but not quite.

Yeah, he just wants to eat it, too. He fills his bowl and returns to his chair to eat it as neatly as Rita is. ]

[It's so...so good. Rita has to stop just because it's still pretty hot, but she blows on it.] This is definitely an improvement.

[ Tyr has to take small bites...unfortunately. But the praise makes up for it. ] Thanks. I had to make it better after Yuri called it "mud soup". [ Even if it was originally kiss-worthy. ]

[Aw, Tyr. Rita snorts at that and replies before she shovels in another spoonful.] If he called my soup mud, I would've made him eat some real dirt.

I should've done that in hindsight... It's a little late for revenge now, though. [ Tyr just continues to eat slowly. Delicious soup that's not quite Gremio-tier. ]

Well, he's not getting any of this one. I guess that's good enough. [Sluuuuurp. It's Gremio-tier enough for Rita!]

[ Tyr-tier is good enough!? He scoffs. ] Yeah, there's not a chance... I'd rather he cooked if he came here anyway...

[Absolutely. ♥] So you don't have to bother?

[ He's really glad~♥ Shaking his head: ] Because he cooks well...

[So is she, when he cooks for her~] Well, yeah, but it's not like you don't.

[ He'd cook for her all the time if they lived together~ ] ... Do you really like this? [ Which might be a dumb question. He just doesn't think he's as good as Yuri. ]

[Kyaa~ The best housewife. ;v;] Huh? You need to ask? [She gives him a quizzical look, since she's already drained half the bowl.]

[ A-and Rita works to support them both!? ;v; ] I just want to make sure. Yuri and I aren't really on the same level... [ ...But he's really glad she likes his soup. He almost offers to give her more right away. ]

[Yes! She brings home the money for them! (And Tyr's no longer the sugar daddy?!)] Just what makes you think that? You haven't had a competition or anything, have you? [Sluuuuurp. She'd so have seconds...if this didn't fill her right up.]

[ And they have a happy, simple life~ (Maybe he spoils her with a side job!!) ]

No, but I'm pretty sure he's better... He's probably done more cooking than I have. [ Riou and the others still need to have some anyway... But he's thinking less about that and more about how Rita likes his cooking. ]

Maybe. But I bet he can't make this. [She definitely, definitely likes it, and eats some more.]

[ Their babies~! Who they also spoil. (A really, really good one!) ]

[ Heee. ] You're right. This is almost my special dish now... [ Because he's messed with it so much! ] He couldn't make it if he wanted to.

Just make sure you hide the recipe from him. [And...oh, she's almost done. She picks up the bowl and slurps the rest of the broth directly from it. Omnom~]

There's no need to; I'm not using the original recipe anymore. [ Which is to say he wings it every time. Seeing her slurp up the rest, he has to offer- ] Do you want some more?
