[ Despite what Genis might say, he was really good at sticking his nose where it didn't belong. Somehow, doing it in Monad wasn't usually as bad as it was when he was alive (though it was hard to top "caused my village to be razed to the ground, murdered one of my friends, and led to my best friend's exile"), but either way, he never really learned his lesson. He wouldn't really be himself if he did.
Though the least he could do was not drag his friends down with him, he usually failed on that front, too. In his defense, Gintoki wasn't exactly being dragged on this expedition through the woods, to find if the ruins his sister asked for were still there. ]
Have you ever been out this far before?
[ Because, well, he was curious if Gintoki was actually as lazy as he made himself sound. Especially when they've been walking for a while now. ]
