...He never hated Lloyd before, even a little, and least of all when he knew that Lloyd must have followed them to protect them, but they didn't need it.
From there, his thoughts spiraled into contempt. Lloyd had less faith in him being able to take care of himself than he did in Raine, when she was the one how collapsed just a few hours ago! If he was here with her, maybe he could have done something, and maybe she'd be okay now. Instead, everyone abandoned her, and now...
They were all his friends, at the moment, he hated them. No-one saved her. Mithos was the only one with a plan that might have worked, but there was no way of knowing now.

Just as abruptly as he had run in, Genis turned on his heel and ran back out.
