[ Genis frowned, somewhat put out by that question. There weren't many people who were interested in this stuff, but he really wanted to read this...

Nevertheless, he saved his place and closed the book. ]

[ What's with that look? ...Maybe he took his frustrations out on Karol a little too much. He opens his mouth, about to say that it's really no problem-

-when there's suddenly a commotion outside the room. Genis looks up, trying to catch any other sounds. He can hear people running, knocking against the walls all the way down the hallway. ]

Hurry! We need to get out!

Genis springs to his feet, book still in hand. ]

Karol, we need to go, too! Come on!

I'm going! Let's hurry!

[Karol is more than ready to get out of here, and dashes out of the room into the hallway. He looks around in confusion for a moment.]

Huh? I don't see any smoke...

What the-

[ Everything looks fine? Genis doesn't smell any smoke, either.

Still, he shakes his head. ]

We better not have been tricked. We should get out of here before it spreads further!

Uh, right! Let's go!

[He doesn't want to stick around with a potential fire either, so he continues making his way to the door of the building with Genis.

Outside, people are milling around, but nobody looks really bothered...and there's still no smoke or fire that he can see, though people look fired up (er) about something.]

Hey! What's going on?

[ ...Yep, everything seems normal. There's no smoke, no fire. People are just standing around, some of them complaining about a prank...

It all seems normal, but... ]

Wait, where's Raine? Who are all these people?

[ He doesn't actually recognize any of them. ]

I need to go back inside! What if she's trapped somewhere?!
