Genis's eyes widened, and he felt something else inside him break along with that snap. Genis stared in shock at Mithos's fist, unable to believe what just happened.

That was Marble's Exsphere... It was like a gift to him. He remembered all the times he could feel her presence alongside him when he used its power. And now it was in pieces, in Mithos's hands.

The pain he felt at that moment paled compared to the loss of his sister. He didn't have it in him to be angry or sad. The emptiness inside of him just grew deeper. He stumbled forward, looking from his friend's hand to his impassive face.
