[ Tyr's wandering around the square now and taking advantage of the lack of curses to look at the different stores. It's more or less just a leisurely walk, though. Eventually, he stops around building ten and posts to the network. ]

It was like this before a while ago, wasn't it? More than a week without any curses. [ He doesn't sound all that certain about it. ] It makes me wonder if the deities are saving their energy for something big to happen later...

...If they are, then I... [ He starts, but then thinks better of it. ] Nevermind.

[ And he turns the device off. ]

And yeah, I think it could be hard unless it's an action thread between a couple characters. Actual memories are better off being posted for memory theatre!]

They're not really his songs... Some of them are classic songs from home. [ He doesn't mean anything weird by it! ]

[ He nods, and with some embarrassment admits: ] Yeah... I hadn't thought of them in a while, but he had quite a few pieces of sheet music before...

[Aha, those are definitely very different. |D I like both of them, so it comes down to whether you feel like playing serious or silly during the grab bag curse!]

[She doesn't fault him at all for not thinking about it. It isn't something they could stick in a music player, after all, but she is interested.] It's been a while, huh? I remember when he sang on the network.

[ It would impress him a lot if they could just scan them into the player and get the music. ] That was a while ago... I think he sang a song from Jowston back then.

[That would be pretty cool to Rita, too! Maybe she'll try to make something like that one day...] Was that what it was? It was too long ago--I can't remember exactly what it was like.

[ He scoffs a little, turning his attention back to the CDs. ] Good thing: I'm not that good at it... But I'll try it again with you if you want.

[Oh, it's one where sand randomly shows up everywhere! It's coming up in a couple days, and the calendar says it's related to the plot. I'm so curious!]

[Rita grins as he does. She really does want to hear him, good or not.] I'd like to hear you, anyway. I'll see if they have a book here on reading music.

[ Oh, I see! I thought it was one of the past curses! I wonder, too. :|a They could take a sand curse in a lot of different ways... My first thought was MUMMIES, though.

Sappy pair. Since this is their plan, they can relax their search of the regional section. They'll be there forever trying to figure out if they heard of Jamaica or Janam or Japan. ] If you're sure about that... I can read it myself, but you should still get a book to teach you.

I'll keep looking over here until you get back.

[Ahaha, I thought of mummies too! Or a plagues of Egypt thing, or even time...Aah, I wonder! Also, it's time for me to head to sleep, so good night. :3]

[Sappiest. Japan is vaguely familiar to Rita, but she knows it's not either of their worlds.] Really? Well, I'll go take a look. I'll be right back.

[She smiles at him, then heads over to peruse the selection!]

[ Ffft, go us |D I wonder if they would do a plagues thing again? Since it was over a year ago that they did that before... (And it was fun!) I sorta like the idea of time! Time changing is always fun. Okay! Sleep well~♥ ]

[ He smiles back at her as she goes, giving her a wave with his hand that's not holding all the CDs. Maybe he'll grab a CD from there anyway, just because it's a familiar name. ] Okay. See you soon!

[Tyr thinks she'd have a good singing voice...That thought stays in her mind as she looks around, finally settling on a small book that comes with an instructional CD so she'll actually know the sounds of the notes she reads.

It isn't long before she makes her way back over to Tyr.] I found something. How are you doing?

[ He has a few new CDs in his hands when she returns. She's really serious about learning, he thinks, having both a book and a CD. ] I haven't found Toran yet, but I took a few regional CDs anyway... Places that sound familiar are close enough, so...

[Learning is very serious business. Rita's gonna do it properly! She looks at the discs he's picked up, and nods.] I'm sure there must be some places that would have similar music. But we'll look through the rest of them, too.

[ We totally need to have it this time. >:3 But this is the plot post! (♥) ]

[ Tyr shouldn't expect anything less from her! Of the discs he picked up, there's Japan and France (like French food!), though for what genre they fall into...Tyr can't say. He chose based on the covers. ] Good idea... As long as it's pretty close, we can pretend.

[Ooh. :3 I kinda wish they'd told us more, but I hope it's exciting!]

[That's right!! Rita looks at them curiously, and then adds a "Scotland" one (because they had recipes for Japanese stew and Scottish eggs-!). She isn't sure if she'd settle for pretending, though...] Hmm...And this can't be the only music store in the city. There might be some that specialize in foreign stuff.

[ I wish they did, too, but they probably will next month! ;v; Sand times are exciting already! Raine and I are talking in plurk a little if you wanna join! (Though I'm running off soon.) ]

Yeah... Though now I wonder if they'll have ones just for our worlds... You don't keep music on discs like this in your world, right? [ Tyr will just grab one from the Greece section...because he liked the bird on the cover. ]
