[ Tyr's wandering around the square now and taking advantage of the lack of curses to look at the different stores. It's more or less just a leisurely walk, though. Eventually, he stops around building ten and posts to the network. ]

It was like this before a while ago, wasn't it? More than a week without any curses. [ He doesn't sound all that certain about it. ] It makes me wonder if the deities are saving their energy for something big to happen later...

...If they are, then I... [ He starts, but then thinks better of it. ] Nevermind.

[ And he turns the device off. ]

[ ooc: Livejournal post! Responding on either site is okay.

Please don't friend this journal. I might use a different one if Poly stays journal-based! ]

At least we can guess that people actually liked these, though. [ So he grabs a random case. They might as well sample every section... ]

Assuming they're not just here because nobody bought them. [But who knows...With a slight sigh, she glances around for the first one that catches her eye--and it's a case splashed with bold colours from a "pop" section, whatever that means.]

Under that assumption, nothing here is good. [ Bold colours almost calls back to Rita, Tyr thinks, so he's not at all surprised that's where she's looking when he follows her eyes.

They don't have anywhere better to go, so he starts towards the case. ]

Well, we'll find out. [Loud colours always get her...She reaches out and takes that particular one so they can try it out, and then glances around again.]

Rock, metal...? See anything you wanna try?

I don't know what any of them are. [ Which he thinks she should have been able to guess by now. ] It wouldn't hurt to try a little bit of everything, though. Neither of us have anywhere else to go...

[Right--and she finds it hard to be interested in the names themselves, so it's not surprising that Tyr isn't, either.] Yeah, you're right...Let's give a few different ones a try.

[ooc: Okay! I'll be going soon, too. Sleep well~♥]

[ He nods. ] We can just pick a few random ones and get an idea of what these sections mean... These sections aren't going to just start making more sense.

[ ooc: I hope you slept well! :3 ]

The names sure don't mean anything to me. [So she reaches out and picks something up from the "rock" and "metal" sections.]

[ooc: Thanks! And I hope your classes started out all right!]

"Rock", "metal", "pop"... The only ones that give an idea of what they are are "classical" and "country". [ Clearly "country" is for national music! ]

[ ooc: My class actually starts at 4pm today! Since my 8am was cancelled because it's a lab... ]

And even "country" doesn't really tell us anything if you don't know about the music in the country it came from. [Seriously, all these labels are just silly! Rita thinks they should make more sense.]

[ooc: Oooh, at least you had some more free time, then. |D Good luck with classes soon!]

[ Tyr mumbles in agreement. ] You're right... And with the way time is here, it could be different anyway...

[ ooc: Yeah :3 I could have stayed home longer-! XD; ]

[Next she picks up something from a "rap" section with a sigh.] Well, just grab anything to try it out, I guess. I'm good with these for now.

[ooc: A little bit more-!]

[ And Tyr grabs something blindly from "house". Sounds like it'd be relaxing. ]

Me too... We should have a good collection.

[ ooc: yeah! ;_; also dinner! ]

[Maybe that'll be his lazy music...Rita figures they at least have enough to try out for now.]

[ One thing found! He nods. ] I don't want to just waste money buying them randomly...

[Rita agrees with him as they start to head over, too.] Or else you could end up with something totally weird.

Or really bad... [ He puts the headphones over her head when they get over to the stand. ]

Or even both. [She places in a disc at random--"pop"--and then listens...

It starts out all right enough; there's a catchy beat like the last one, more of that synthesizer, and--then the actual singing starts, and Rita's expression is probably ridiculous as she listens to the high-pitched cutesy lyrics that seem to be all about feelings.]

[ooc: Aww, good! ♥]

[ He watches curious, but soon enough, his face matches hers. What is she thinking about?! And it was the music she liked, too. ] ...Like it?

[ ooc: Yeah~! :3 ]

...Hang on... [She...isn't even sure right now. Gonna skip this song and try a different one--oh, that's better. A more normal pitch, and...well, lots of feelings in the lyrics again, but that could be normal.] It's not horrible, but...

[Oh, here. She puts the headphones over Tyr's head now.]

[ He holds them over his ears to listen.

It sounds sort of like what they listened to before, he thinks. He's not totally sure about the lyrics, but... He offers her a little smile. ] It's not bad.

[ /cling ]

It's better than the first song, anyway. [But she has to admit that she agrees--it's not bad, and it might even be catchy.] You wanna try a different one?

You made the first song seemed pretty bad... [ Still, he's not sure... He keeps holding the headphones. ] Do you think this song is good enough to buy the entire disc for?

Only if the rest of it's any good. Listen to the first one- [She reaches over and hits the back button so he can hear it too!]

[ He doesn't respond to that - just thinking they can't listen to every song on every disc - and just waits for the song to start. Immediately, it doesn't really sound bad. ] It's not that different from the first...

[ What's wrong with a girl singing about her sappy feelings in a high-pitched voice... ]
