[ Tyr's wandering around the square now and taking advantage of the lack of curses to look at the different stores. It's more or less just a leisurely walk, though. Eventually, he stops around building ten and posts to the network. ]

It was like this before a while ago, wasn't it? More than a week without any curses. [ He doesn't sound all that certain about it. ] It makes me wonder if the deities are saving their energy for something big to happen later...

...If they are, then I... [ He starts, but then thinks better of it. ] Nevermind.

[ And he turns the device off. ]

[ Okay, Tyr, you win. Even though he didn't say it that loudly, he's still looking embarrassed afterwards when he remembers where they are. Totally just saw someone look over...! ]

[ Totally amused right here. People did look over, but Tyr didn't pay that much attention. ]

[ And drinking his happily, too. It's even cool enough to drink easily now! ]

[He can be prepared next time! Rita doesn't take much notice of it, besides noting that he does like those bright turtlenecks (and he's probably comfy in all of that, too).]

Good. Now, look--this turns it on. [She demonstrates with a very light tap to the core, which immediately glows with soft, deep blue light. The blastia's controls appear as the usual touchscreen in the air just above it, and Rita points out the commands that are displayed there.]

You can pretty much control everything with this. There's volume, a databank of music that I put in, and even a way to play those music discs they sell around here. I studied one of those players to install that function here.

[ Even if it never was. He just wants to tease him a little. ]

[ He shakes his head once. Not because he believes his face is red or anything! ]

You're still a pudgy jerk.

[ He is! Though comfort isn't the only reason he wears them.

When she starts explaining the features, he becomes even more interested, staring at the controls and then over at Rita. ]

Wow... You really out did yourself when you made this... [ He was glad she made him a music player at all. Now he's thoroughly impressed. Maybe he'll have to buy some of the discs later to try! ]

[ Something of a snort. ] Yeah, okay.

Anyway, there's something else I want to talk to you about than how fat you are.

[ Rude. ]

Well, I was thinking... I want you to tell me stuff more.

[ Tyr blinks, his expression going blank. ] Because I didn't mention Katara?

[moregirls]

No! Well, maybe it came to me because of that, but it's something I thought about before.

[negativegate]

[Yep...Gotta have the high neck.

She practically beams at him as her hands drift over the controls to pick some music.] I only make the best blastia, after all.

So...I just put a couple songs on here for dancing. You can add whatever you want later--it'll copy music from those discs and store it here.

I don't mind talking to you, but... Are you sure? I don't really have a lot to say...

[ Yep... He wears normal shirts when he's just at home, at least!

She's also the only one who makes blastia...but even if she had competition, he'd probably agree. ]

I still need to get discs to copy off of... But I can get those later. [ He watches her pick some music- ] We already have songs to test out now- and it's been a while since we've gotten to dance.

It's when there is something you want to talk about, or, y'know, when there's stuff on your mind and you're keeping it to yourself because you think you have to.

[ Sheena moves the direction of his cup, both hands onn it as he tries to find the best way to say what he wants. ] You've always been like that, but I want to know about it too.

[ He gives a shrug, as if trying to make it seem nonchalant, and picks up his cup. ] I should be allowed to know. That's what I think.

[ And he takes a drink. ]

[ Tyr's silent for a few seconds after he finishes speaking. It isn't like he never realised he kept things back; it was a conscious effort for a while, and then it became a habit. He kicks his legs under the chair a little as he thinks of a response. ]

You're allowed to know... I just don't always think of it...

I really hoped Katara would come back a few weeks ago... That's why I never mentioned it.

[moregirls]

[ He puts his cup down, pausing before he gives a response- ] It's just- I don't know if you think you can't speak to me or if you think I don't care. And maybe I've been thinking about it too hard. Probably. We've been pals since the war.

... I guess I just wanted to say it.

[blackshadow]

[ Tyr just kind of looks down. ] It's not that I don't trust you... I just don't usually tell anyone.

[ Looking back up at him, he casually says: ] You've been thinking of it too hard.

[moregirls]

... Yeah. [ He sighs, bringing his arm onto the table to lean his head in his hand. Like that, he ends up looking in towards the shop. ] Guess so.
